YouTube Analytics Reporting Tool for Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Last updated September 29, 2026

This tool is a single-purpose internal application built for Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles. It connects, via Google OAuth, to the YouTube channel that Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles owns and manages.

What data we access

Using the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API, this tool reads the following data for the authorized channel only:

• Video metadata (titles, publish dates, durations)
• Channel-level and per-video metrics: views, watch time, likes, comments, shares, and subscriber counts
• Audience retention data (how long viewers watch before dropping off)
• Traffic source data (how viewers found each video, search, suggested videos, external links, etc.)

This tool does not access, read, or store any personal information about individual viewers or subscribers. It only reads aggregate, channel-level analytics.

How we use this data

Data is pulled on a weekly automated schedule and stored in a private internal database. It is used exclusively to generate a weekly summary report, emailed to a small number of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles employees responsible for the podcast, to help evaluate episode performance and inform planning for future seasons.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, share, rent, or otherwise disclose this data to any third party.
• We do not use this data for advertising, ad targeting, or any purpose unrelated to internal reporting on this one channel.
• We do not access any YouTube data outside of the single channel this tool is authorized for.

Data retention

Weekly analytics snapshots are retained in our internal database indefinitely, for historical trend reporting. This data is not publicly accessible and is stored on infrastructure we control.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time by the channel owner via Google Account permissions.
